Horses offer humans an opportunity to slow down and connect to our senses. Their natural curiosity and instinct to connect can help us humans practice listening to ourselves, to them, and to each other.
Mental health professionals interested in learning more are warmly invited to join us to experience the magic of these sweet and powerful creatures.
Your equine teachers will be four lovely horses (Honey Bee, Lido, Noodles, and Pumpkin), and your human guide will be an MSC (Mindful Self-Compassion) trained teacher with ESMHL (Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning) certification.

Unmounted (no riding involved);
Please prepare for the possibility of dirt, manure smells, and horse hair;
Cautious participants (horses do look a lot like moose!) are welcome to participate from across a fence line;
All experience levels welcome, from beginners to seasoned horse fans;
Weather and clothing: This is a rain-or-shine event. Layers are enthusiastically recommended;

Optional: Free manure available to interested participants. (BYOBucket);
